How to Customize Your Live Illustrations for Weddings and Events

One thing to know about me is that I love making things unique, which is why I offer so many customizations to my live wedding illustrations! Having a live illustrator at your wedding is already an amazing way to elevate your event, but you don’t need to stop there! Keep reading to see all of the customizations that can be added to your live illustrations. 

Customization Options for Live Wedding Illustrations 

Different styles 

I offer digital and paper live illustrations for weddings and events. If you choose to have paper illustrations, I will complete them with markers, pens, and colored pencils. Digital sketches will be completed at your event and then emailed to you with a link to purchase a print that will be shipped to you. 

Keep in mind, I only offer paper or digital sketches per event. Choose which style you like best and I will capture your event as it unfolds! 

Adding multiple artists 

Are you having a larger event? Consider adding additional artists! Personally, I can sketch seven guests per hour, which limits me to less than 150 illustrations during your event. If you add another artist, even more guests can participate in this unique experience - and have the coolest favor to remember your event by! 

Custom borders

Did you know you could customize your illustration’s borders? Whatever your vision is, we can match it. Some people want to include words on the border, or art from their invitations, or even just a few doodles in the corners. We can decide on a custom border that seamlessly blends with the rest of your event. 

You can even choose to have a custom background on your illustration! However, if you choose to include a background, your final sketches will be digital. 

Thank you Stickers & Travel Envelopes 

If you’re already including live illustrations at your wedding or event, why not add on some stickers and envelopes? The envelopes I offer are stiff, protecting your art from being bent and folded. And if you’re going to secure your envelope with anything, it might as well be a custom sticker, right? These options are also great ways to personalize your thank you cards. 

Full face sketches 

Many of my live illustrations for weddings and events are faceless figures, but that’s not the only option. To truly create a one-of-a-kind experience for your guests, you can choose to add full-face sketches to your package. Sketching a full face takes longer, but it is an option for any live event! 

Calligrapher in Boston 

Looking for a live illustrator for an event in Boston? You’re in luck! We’ve partnered with a calligrapher who can add a special touch of elegance to your finished piece. Depending on their availability, we can add beautiful calligraphy names to each illustration of your guests.

Custom artwork that you couldn’t get otherwise 

In addition to all of the options above, I also offer custom illustrations that might not be possible to capture live. Perhaps you want a picture of you and your siblings, but never managed to get a picture together during the event. Or maybe you have a relative who passed away, but you still want to honor their presence. Or maybe you want a portrait of your pets to display at your wedding! I can create a custom piece of art that includes anyone you want - whether they’re at your event or not.
